Hints and Tips
Hints and tips has been designed to aid the smooth running of a balloon modelling party. We have a team of highly experienced balloon modellers that host our parties.
Our job is to provide you with the best party we can, and in order for us to do this we believe the following ‘hints and tips’ will help to make this possible.
A telephone consultation is also required before going ahead with any booking, so we can ensure we are able to cater to your party requirements.
- It really is essential that you keep within the maximum number of guests appropriate for your party package, (stated at the top of each party package on the party application form) we do have options for an extra party host, if you will exceed the maximum number of guests. The numbers we have given are a guide to the amount of children we are able to supervise.
- Other party entertainment: We strongly suggest that you do not have any other forms of entertainment running at the start of the balloon show e.g. Soft play, bouncy castles, outside activities. Having other other forms of entertainment can cause a distraction and pull the focus from the dancing/games segment of your party. Once the children are full engaged then we recommend resuming with the other forms of entertainment.
- Parents in the room: We understand children’s parties also have a social element for parents, a chance for parents to catch up while the children are being entertained. However as we cannot guarantee a microphone for the duration of the party, it can become difficult for the balloon modeller to be heard whilst speaking (shouting to be heard) over multiple conversations taking place. We ask kindly that if there is a separate room for the majority of parents to be in, this will be helpful. If this is not possible, we ask that parents can be aware of the noise levels, and this is taken into consideration when party planning.
- Parents on hand to take any children to the toilet, and if needs be/provide refreshments throughout the party.
Ensuring a list of children’s interest for the birthday boy/girl has been sent/or communicated to us 7 days ahead of the event date. - For 2hour party bookings, please remember that a 15/20min break for food is required within this time. Please liaise with us about the time of the break before the party takes place, and if you would like us to assist with the cutting of the cake.
