Product Description
Inflatable Bungee Run Hire in London
Two players strap into harnesses attached to elastic cords and race down parallel inflatable lanes. The further you get, the harder the cord pulls back. You plant a velcro marker at your furthest point, the cord takes you back to the start whether you like it or not, and whoever placed their marker furthest wins.
What makes it good at an event is that it rewards commitment rather than athleticism. The person who sprints flat out gets yanked off their feet spectacularly; the person who paces it gets further. Watching people work that out is most of the entertainment.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
To ensure a smooth and safe setup, please note:
- A clear area of at least 16ft x 48ft including safety clearance
- Access to a power supply within 25 metres (or generator hire available)
- Clear access route to the setup area
- A flat surface — grass preferred, hard surface possible with sandbags
- Adult supervision at all times during use
- Suitable parking access
This is a long unit — the length of your space matters far more than the width.
⚠ HEAVY ITEM — ACCESS RESTRICTIONS APPLY
This is one of our heaviest units and cannot be carried any significant distance. Please read before booking:
- Our van must be able to park within close distance of the setup area
- Minimum 4ft wide clear access route throughout
- No stairs — we cannot deliver this item up or down steps
- No long carry distances, tight corners or narrow side passages
If your site does not meet all four points, contact our team before booking. We may be unable to install on arrival, and cancellation on the day is chargeable.
Important Setup Information
At 40ft the bungee run needs a genuinely long, clear run. Measure before booking rather than on the day — this is the unit customers most often underestimate.
Customers must provide:
- Minimum 4ft wide access route
- A clear 44ft length including run-off at both ends
- A surface free of stones, glass and sharp objects

The bungee run is the most straightforwardly competitive thing we hire. Two people, one race, a clear winner, and no way to win it gracefully. It has been a staple of fun days for decades because the format simply does not get old.
We hire it throughout London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Surrey and the wider South East, delivering to corporate events, schools, fetes and private parties. Run, harnesses, blower and anchoring arrive as one package.
Why the Bungee Run Works at Events
Races take about twenty seconds, which is the shortest cycle of anything in our range. That matters more than it sounds — it means a queue of thirty people moves in twenty minutes rather than an hour, and nobody gives up waiting.
It also has a genuine tactical element. Sprinting is the instinct and it is the wrong answer; the cord takes you off your feet before you reach your limit. Steady, low, controlled running gets further. People work this out over two or three goes, which is exactly why they queue again.
And it suits an enormous age range. A five year old racing a parent is as good a contest as two adults, because the cord tension does the handicapping for you.
Perfect for Sports Days and Corporate Fun Days
The bungee run is one of our most requested school hires for sports days and end of term events. It fits the format schools already use — heats, lanes, a clear winner — and it needs no equipment from you.
At corporate fun days it works as a tournament centrepiece, and because it is head-to-head rather than team-based it produces the individual rivalries that people remember. We supply full PLI and RAMS documentation for schools and venues that need it on file.
Safe and Professionally Installed
The lanes are fully inflatable with soft walls, and the whole point of the design is that players are pulled backwards onto cushioning rather than stopping abruptly. The harnesses are padded and adjustable across a wide size range.
Our team installs and anchors the unit, fits harnesses correctly at the start of the hire, and gives a safety briefing covering how to run and how to let the cord take you back. We ask that players remove glasses and empty their pockets first.
What Makes Our Bungee Run Different
Length. At 40ft this is a full-size run — long enough that the cord tension builds properly and the contest has somewhere to develop. Shorter units reach maximum tension within a few strides, which turns a race into a novelty.
Every unit is cleaned and sanitised between hires, harnesses included. Harnesses are worn against the body by a great many people over a day, so this is not a corner we cut.
Choosing Between Our Competitive Inflatables
The bungee run is the best choice if you want a fair race across a wide age range and you have the length for it. The gladiator arena gives a more confrontational contest in a much smaller footprint. Bungee tug of war is the most physical and needs a 40ft width rather than length.
All three are 4 player games with the same quick-turnover rhythm. If you are running a fun day, two of them side by side keeps twice as many people occupied. Tell us your space and we will suggest the pairing that fits.
