Ten thousand balls is the number that makes this work. A ball pit with a thin layer of balls is a paddling pool; at this depth children can genuinely sink into it, bury themselves and disappear, which is the entire appeal.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
To ensure a smooth and safe setup, please note:
- A clear area of at least 18ft x 23ft including safety clearance
- Access to a power supply within 25 metres (or generator hire available)
- Clear access route to the setup area
- A flat surface — grass preferred, hard surface possible with sandbags
- Adult supervision at all times during use
- Suitable parking access
The blower runs continuously throughout the hire and must stay plugged in.
Important Setup Information
Setup and pack down take longer than most units because of the ball fill — please allow us extra time either side of your hire.
Customers must provide:
- Minimum 4ft wide access route
- A clear path to the setup area
- A level surface free of stones, glass and sharp objects
- Somewhere sheltered — wet balls have to be dried before the next hire

Why Ball Depth Matters
Most ball pits disappoint for one reason: not enough balls. A shallow layer means children sit on the base rather than in the balls, and the magic evaporates immediately.
Ten thousand gives genuine depth. Children can wade, sink, bury each other and throw handfuls about without ever reaching the bottom. That is a completely different experience, and it is the reason this hire holds attention for an hour rather than five minutes.
The high inflatable sides also keep the balls where they belong. A pit with low walls redistributes itself across your garden within twenty minutes.
Perfect for Parties, Nurseries and Photo Shoots
The ball pit is our most requested hire for younger children’s parties and christenings, where you want something absorbing rather than energetic. It also suits nurseries and toddler groups.
It has become a genuine favourite for photographers and content shoots, because it fills a frame with colour and children behave naturally in it. We supply full PLI and RAMS documentation for settings that need it on file.
Safe and Professionally Installed
Foam steps are the important detail. Climbing over an inflatable wall into a pit is how children hurt themselves; stepping in and out is not. The steps are included as standard rather than charged as an extra.
The pit is soft on every surface, and our team installs and anchors it before filling. We ask that an adult supervises, mainly to manage numbers — eight at a time is comfortable, more than that and the fun goes out of it.
What Makes Our Ball Pit Different
The balls are washed and sanitised between every hire, not just when they look grubby. Ten thousand balls handled by dozens of children is exactly the situation where that matters, and it is the question parents ask most often.
We also count and replace them. Ball pits lose stock steadily, and a pit hired at nine thousand balls is noticeably worse than one at ten.
Choosing Between Our Ball Pits
The giant ball pit at £350 comes in standard multicoloured balls — bright, bold and what most children expect. Our giant white ball pit at £380 is the same unit with white and pastel balls, and it is the one to choose for christenings, baby showers, weddings and anything being photographed against a particular colour scheme.
Both need 18ft x 23ft and both hold eight. The only real difference is the look. Tell us the event and we will suggest which.
